How? Sometimes its easy. Sometimes that question has to be dug into, turned upside and really investigated upon to come up with something. But generally, laws of physics and nature, mechanical principles of the human body, and a whole lot of listening to the innate intelligence that the human mind and body possesses to heal itself. And that intelligence does it involuntarily, but we step in and look for what's blocking that natural rhythm, where's the stressors that prevent healing, and what can be done about it. In a sense, how do we create an ''accelerated healing response''.
For concussion for example, I have spent thousands of hours, sitting quietly, almost in a meditative state, listening to the natural resting rhythms of the human cranium of my patients. The internal rhythms of blood flow, cerebrospinal fluid, and electrical activity and other aspects. Synchronizing with the natural tendency towards a healthy state from past to present moment, and encouraging balance in the musculoskeletal structure, can assist in normalizing the changes after significant concussion or brain injury. So much so that I have seen highly stressed individuals with head trauma, adapt their lives and over time through treatment completely reverse lesions found on MRI scan of the brain from a diagnosis similar to multiple sclerosis.
